The Sota core network is a 40x10Gb/s DWDM optical fibre network with a regional footprint spanning south-east England. The resilient network design utilises best-practise ring topology to connect the Sota datacentres directly to London datacentres where we connect to mutliple Tier-1 global transit providers, the Lonap peering exchange and other network operators. Ultra-high availability metro ethernet, WDM wavelength and dark fibre services are available, providing customers with direct access to Sota, high bandwidth direct internet access, IPv4 and IPv6 BGP IP transit, low latency backhaul, and point-to-point connectivity.
The network is fully integrated with other network operators providing a national reach encompassing over 230 PoPs on 13,700km of fibre enabling access to 200,000 UK business postcodes. The Sota core network also integrates carrier-grade duct and fibre spanning East Kent which is owned and managed by Sota. The network is monitored 24x7 by the Sota Network Operations Centre in our Kent headquarters.
International links expand the Sota network reach into Singapore and partnerships with global carriers allow us to provide international solutions for companies with offices around the world.
